Delivery Exceptions That May Incur Additional Charges
Some delivery circumstances require special handling and may result in extra fees, including:
- Deliveries involving stairs or upper levels
- Basement, window, or other unconventional access points
- Delivery sites more than one hundred feet from the nearest accessible entry
- Weekend or holiday delivery requests
- Remote or difficult-to-access locations (such as mountainous roads, islands, resorts, or highly congested areas)
- Shipments outside the forty-eight contiguous United States
